The Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market is a community focus market that supports quality, sustainable and local produce, food, arts, crafts, lifestyle products & entertainment. It is held in the corner car park of The Gully Road and Berowra Waters Road –behind the Caltex Petrol Station providing a relaxed atmosphere, free entertainment and great selection of stallholders making it a popular destination for both locals and tourists to the area.

VENUE: Just 40 minutes’ drive from Sydney CBD with easy access, the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine and Handcraft Market is located on the corner car park of The Gully Road and Berowra Waters Road –behind the Caltex Petrol Station with plenty customer parking and overlooking the bush setting.
TERMS & CONDITIONS
The following Term Conditions have been extracted from the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market Regulations. Stallholders must also read and familiarize themselves and accept the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market Regulations in order to smoothly and successfully run their business at the market.
LOAD IN & OUT
Please ensure you have an adequate cash float with you on arrival.
Gates open from 7am for stallholder set up. All stallholders must be ready to trade at 9am and remain on site until 2pm.
Stallholders arriving the market area need to wait for directions before unloading, and then remove the vehicle from the site. Stallholders are asked to park their vehicles as further away as possible from the venue to vacate free parking to prospective customers. There is ample parking only two minutes’ walk from the market at the Berowra train station car park. NB: Street parking near or around the market area is strictly prohibited and restricted only for your customers.
Sites are 3m x 3m for main stallholders. Stallholders are responsible for their own tables, chairs, shelters, signage and all other equipment pertaining to their stall. Some 6m x 3m are available on request.
The location of stalls is at the sole discretion of the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market. Permanent stallholders paying online fees two markets in advance have first option for site location. All other stallholders will be allocated a site as it becomes available.
There is electricity provided for selected stalls – 1 lead/stall. These are allocated based on prior arrangement. If you are approved for the use of onsite electricity, your site will incur a surcharge (see the Schedule of Payment for more information). The provision of power to each stall is organized on per market basis. Stallholders wanting to discontinue having access to power must advice the Market Manager one month in advance (30 working days) in writing. Payment for power surcharge will remain until the discontinuing notification is acknowledge by the Market Manager.
The Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market Managers and Market Manager are not responsible for damages caused to stallholder’s equipment by externally hired Power Generators.
Stallholders must not leave their stall unattended unless they notify a member of Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market. We are happy to watch stalls for short periods of time when available.
It is a breach of the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market Terms & Conditions and Regulations to begin packing up your stall prior to the end of trading hours. Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market reserves the right to refuse future applications from stallholders who breach these conditions.
It is a breach of the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market Terms & Conditions for stallholders to leave their stall area damaged or untidy. It is the responsibility of each stallholder to ensure their designated stall area and area immediately surrounding their stall area is left in the same condition as when they arrived.
All rubbish pertaining to your stall is to be removed from the site at the end of the day and carter away from the market for disposal. Stallholders are not permitted to use the bins exclusively provided for customers. Spot fines will apply to those found breaching this regulation.
EXCLUSIVITY & REGULAR ATTENDANCE
Stallholders are only permitted to sell items, which they included on their Application Form and were approved in writing by Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market.
It is the responsibility of all applying stallholders to adequately and correctly fill out the Application Form attaching all relevant photos and insurance paperwork.
It is Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market’s sole discretion to accept or decline any stallholder application based on the information provided on the Stallholder Application Form.
There are a number of varied reasons why an application may not be successful. Commonly, maybe that there are already be too many similar items for sale at that particular market. It is for this reason that all unsuccessful applicants are urged to reapply for future markets.
Successful stallholders are not permitted to transfer or on sell their stall site.
Stall holders agree to have their stalls photographed and grant permission for Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market to use these photos in any marketing material for the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market, including but not limited to Berowra FarmersFine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market’s Facebook, website and twitter accounts, and all printed marketing materials.
Berowra Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market may offer exclusivity of product at its discretion and without guarantee. Therefore, Berowra FarmersFine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market reserves the right to take on the same or similar products to yours.
To become a permanent or semi-permanent stallholder, you must pay two markets in advance. In some special occasions, the Market Manager may ask stallholders to pay a bond equal to two market. If this circumstances arrive, a bond recovery arrangement will be documented.
HOT FOOD & FINE FOOD STALLHOLDERS
All food stallholders must provide their own ground cover sheeting under their cooking equipment to prevent food or oil staining the ground. If you do not bring a ground cover sheet you will not be permitted to trade. Food stallholders found breaching this regulation will be asked to bring solvents and to clean the stained ground.
It is a requirement expect of all our stallholders, including Liquor exhibitors, to comply with the NSW Food and Liquor Regulations and to comply with the require NSW Health Department standards, rules and regulations.
It is the responsibility of food stallholders who are operating with gas or electrical appliances that the relevant safety equipment is on hand (ie blanket / certified fire extinguisher) and to ensure that the equipment is compliant with all relevant workplace regulations and are approved and in date.
For health and safety reasons, children should not be allowed to enter the preparation area of a food stall.
ARTS & CRAFT STALLHOLDERS
Berowra FarmersFine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market only support Stallholders selling local artisan goods. Mass-produced imported goods are unwelcome and must not to be included to the list of selling items, unless approved by the Market Manager and in exceptional cases.
NON FOR PROFIT STALLHOLDERS
Berowra FarmersFine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market will offer an area each market of 1.5m free of charge where non-profit groups can carry out their charitable community service or activity they represent.
Prospective Non for Profit Stallholders must complete an online Registration Application and receive approval from the Market Manager to proceed to book a site on line.
BerowraFarmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market is unable to offer public liability insurance to Stallholders who do not have their own insurance.
All non-profit Stallholders are required to bring their own table, chair and umbrella – maximum size 2m wide x 1m deep.
Non-profit Stallholders are responsible for their stall only and must bring a replacement volunteer if they require a short break.
Non-profit Stallholders are responsible for the cleaning of their site and for the removal of their clients’ waste.
Non-profit Stallholders are not allowed to park their vehicles on the parking area near or around the market.
The use of electricity is not offered to non-profit stallholders.
WEATHER
Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market operates in varying weather conditions. It is the responsibility of all stallholders to be prepared for all weather conditions.
Adverse weather is not the responsibility of Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market and therefore will not be held responsible for any damage, loss or injury resulting from adverse weather conditions.
In the case of extreme weather Berowra Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market may cancel the market. You will be notified by text message and e-mail by 5am on market day. Fee payments will be carried forward to the next market only. No refunds apply.
MARKETING
Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market participates in a number of forms of marketing including print media, flyer delivery, signs & banners and online media. We attempt to support all stallholders in our marketing material but cannot guarantee that you will be featured.
From time to time, the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market may undertake a number of marketing strategies to entice customer’s participation including free gift vouchers and competitions. These marketing tactics are purely intended to increase public attendance and enhance trading. Stallholders must use common-sense and exclude themselves, their families and relatives from entering all marketing competitions and avoid embarrassment and possible rejection from future trading.

CODE OF CONDUCT
It is a requirement of all stallholders attending Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market that they conduct themselves in a friendly and respectful manner at all times when dealing with the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market team, other stallholders and customers.
Dealing with downloading and uploading traffic can be frustrating at times, but the Market Manager will not tolerate fights or arguments between stallholders. You must report any discrepancy to the Market Manager immediately and avoid confrontations that will create ill fillings and possible be refused to attend future markets.
Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market must be known for its great atmosphere so we encourage you to smile a lot and have fun.
SCHEDULE OF FEES
Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market preferred payment method is EFT or Credit Card two markets in advance. Refer to details provided on Application Form and Booking Form.
COMPLIANCE
It is the responsibility of each successful stallholder to ensure that they are familiarized with the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market Regulations and comply with all rules and regulations pertaining to their products.
It is a condition of the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market that stallholders have their own insurance and that it is adequate and current. Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market reserves the right to refuse entry to any stallholder who does not have the appropriate insurance and has not submitted the appropriate paper work with their application no refund.
The use of any power outlets onsite is not permitted unless agreed with the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market Manager.
It is the responsibility of the stallholder to obtain all the relevant permits required to operate their stall and business; and to ensure that their merchandise is compliant with all relevant safety rules, regulations and standards.
Failure to comply with any of the Terms & Conditions set out in this document may result in an immediate stall closure and future applications may be rejected.
The Market Manager must be notified 48 hours in advance of a Stallholder necessity to be absent on the day of the market. No refunds of money will apply and in some instance a credit may be awarded towards a future market day as per Berowra Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market Regulation 5.
If you are unable to attend, the fee can only be reallocated to a future market when notice is given 4 weeks in advance. No-shows or late notice forfeit the fee for that month.
Stallholders unable to arrive on time must contact the Market Manager before 7.30am. Giving inform of the delay and at what time they will arrive.
Understanding and agreeing to the Berowra Farmers Fine Food, Wine & Handcraft Market Terms & Conditions and Regulations is compulsory for all Stallholders.
