Information for entertainers

We welcome all kinds of music that is upbeat, family friendly and skilfully presented.

Essentially, we have two types of performance opportunities at our farmers market:

Casual entertainers

Busking spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, with room for two or at most 3 performers each market day. Performers are welcome to show up on market day and ask the Market Manager if there is a spot for them to busk that day. Must bring their own acoustic equipment and play for tips only.

Scheduled entertainers

Scheduled performances are arranged in advance through our office. To secure a spot in advance, entertainers are welcome to contact our office and arrange a prescheduled date and time to perform. Shady area with room for a group and power are available. Well-seasoned entertainers can negotiate a small fee plus play for tips. Photos and publicity shots are require for posting at the market’s Facebook page.

Terms & Conditions to bear in mind:

Music is kept at a low volume to avoid interference with market conversations and sales.
